Our Custom Application Capabilities
Interlink Electronics burst on to the technological scene in 1985 with the invention and marketing of the Force Sensing Resistor (FSR), but that auspicious debut only represents a fraction of our modern capabilities. From custom sensors to bespoke HMI integrations, we have worked on specialized projects with companies of all sizes in a plethora of industries. Our sensor technology has been included in such diverse products as oncological radiotherapy equipment, personal transport devices, and professional-grade power tools. In the automotive segment alone, we pioneered the development of touch activated self-deploying car door handles and created resistive touch interfaces for major car manufacturers.
Our custom projects can be as basic as making simple modifications to existing sensors. We offer standard sensors in a range of shapes and sizes, but given the tight space tolerances and specific dimensions required by most products, our clients often need modified versions.
