Process / Industrial Engineer

Interlink Electronics is seeking an energetic individual to support the Manufacturing Group in productivity and quality improvements. You will support development, implementation, and maintenance of all manufacturing processes.  Responsibilities may include reviewing new designs for manufacturability, production line balancing, time studies, efficiency improvements and creation/documentation of manufacturing work instructions.  You will assist in the development of new and/or improved mechanical fixtures, be able to design, machine and implement fixtures, tooling, and test equipment for the production lines, and will coordinate pre-production/pilot runs of all new products.  Provide technical guidance to production operators, implement new assembly techniques, and assist in determining the root cause of rejected parts and their disposition. 
 
Requirements:

· Applicable Degree and 5+ years experience in a dynamic fast paced production environment preferred

· Experience in mid volume-electronics manufacturing techniques

· PC literate in MS-Word, Access, and ACAD, and have some knowledge of the MRP and Quality systems

· Excellent problem solving and project management skills required

· Excellent data analysis and reporting skills

· Lean manufacturing experience very desirable
