Edward J. Fred

Edward J. Fred is the Chief Executive Officer and President of CPI, a publicly-held aerospace company listed on the NYSE Amex Stock Exchange (symbol: CVU). He has been an officer of CPI since February 1995 and a director since January 1999. He was CPI’s controller from February 1995 to April 1998, when he was appointed chief financial officer, a position he held until June 2003 and then from January 2004 to May 2004. He was executive vice president from May 2000 until December 2001 and was appointed president in January 2002 and chief executive officer in January 2003. For approximately ten years prior to joining CPI, Mr. Fred served in various positions for the international division of Grumman, where he last held the position of controller. Mr. Fred holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from Dowling College and an Executive MBA from Hofstra University.
